St Bedes OB 0 Albion Sports 9

A PERFECT EXAMPLE WHY IN CUP GAMES BEDES SHOULD MERGE PLAYERS FROM ALL 3 TEAMS TO PUT OUT THE BEST TEAM POSSIBLE, Maybe next year, Maybe Not!

Division 3

Colton Academicals Res 1 St Bedes OB Res 2

Bedes going strongly in Division 3 and always a good win at Colton Academcials Reserves. 0-1ht 1-1 five minutes into the second  half. 55 mins back to a one goal Bedes lead. Gary Cocker with the first and Gaz Hunter with the second as Bedes seem to be single-minded about their promotion drive.

Old Collegians III 0  St Bedes OB III 4

It was probably the worst place to play football when it was gale force winds, (top of huddersfield) At times the ball looped back over your head, off the pitch and 1/4 mile down the field!

It was 0-0 at half time with Collegians not making the most of the wind. The only chances they had were smothered and blocked by MOM keeper Wilson. Bedes work hard throughout the first 45 getting to most of the first and second balls trying to play it out of defence where possible rather than hoofing it.

The second half meant Bedes could focus on attack rather than defence. Benson made it 1-0 early in the first half followed by the introduction of subs Allen, Hallam and Hayward. Muddy then got 2 goals of his own keeping him as Bedes leadng scorer. Hallam's first touch resulted in 4-0 to Bedes and that's how it ended.

This means 6/12 points for Bedes and two wins out of two. Cup next at Divison 4 Mods which Bedes are capable of winning if they continue their run of good form
